Personality: Quiet and easily scared, Maurice is a gentle soul with an amazingly superior flight ability. He can not speak (yet) or sing, but his expressions say more than words ever could.

When he does finally get the ability to speak, he'll rarely use it, feeling like it's not needed...

Extra Information:

• He's HUGE. About five inches taller than Francoeur kind of huge. (Which since Francoeur is approx 7'0" when upright...)
  
• Give him honey, he'll be your friend for life.
  
• Don't be too forward with him during introductions, he's easily startled and will jump if you scare him.
  
• Cicada-speak and the language most other bugs speak are two totally different worlds of language.
  Speaking Cicada to a flea would be like speaking Japanese to an American and visa versa.

Preferred Name: Lusey, Beth or Bethy are okay, but she prefers Lusey. (will probably shoot you a nasty look if you call her Anne, Annie, Anna, etc)
Age (Bug Characters by appearance): 22
Gender: Female
Personality: Highly optimistic, easy to scare. Put her in front of a screen playing a horror film and she'll jump behind the chair and cower in fear. She's not unwilling to make a new friend, but she tends to sit at the back and not talk too much at social events.
She does have some bursts of nerve though, and (like a typical American) often can run into a situation without thinking (or will run in knowing what's going on and not caring in the slightest). She's got some nerve, but it doesn't take much for that moment of bravery to pass.
Extra Information:

• Born and raised in America, she sometimes comes off as a little strong willed and stubborn. She moved to Paris in hopes of discovering new inspirations for her art.
  
• She currently works as a freelancing sketcher, often helping people such as movie makers, play writers, and performance directors with set designs, character concepts, etc etc.
  

Defining Traits:
Keeps her hair much too short for the time period, but claims it's because her hair kept getting knotted up like a nightmare. Usually wears a cap of some sorts and a green overcoat. Hazel eyes and ashy blonde hair.

Preferred Name: Charlotte or Lottie
Age (Bug Characters by appearance): 19 or 20
Gender: Female
Personality: As far as smarts go, she's VERY intelligent. The professor always did have a few small "pets" living in his workspace. And when you're a mantis of her curiosity, you learn stuff fast... not to mention the occasional drop of various formulas.
As for personality itself... She's a very cheerful, sweet, and bubbly character, but is not a pushover in the slightest, she's smart and she knows it.
She's no pushover when it comes to combat, either, those claws aren't just for show. She doesn't like to use them for that purpose, but she WILL. Her first option is to open her wings and raise her claws into the air, never attack.
Extra Information:

• Is HEAVILY offended by being called a cricket.
  
• Is actually really good with handling things with her upper hands, she just prefers to use her lower set.
  
• LOVES Strawberries, they remind her of ladybugs.
  
• The underside of her upper hands are soft and squishy, basically, it's the skin that's usually protected by the tough exoskeleton. Her hands thus, are also vulnerable like real human skin.
  

Defining Traits:
Standing at a height of 5'8" (changed the height, I forgot that Mantids are rather tall for bugs), Charlotte did not mutate and grow as much as many other bugs that had been "born" from the strange growth serum. She lived in the garden, eating away at the ladybugs and smaller crickets that hopped and flew around what had once been her entire world.
Now that she has grown, she's found herself turning her head in disgust at most meat, instead looking to a more vegetarian lifestyle... with some fish included, of course.
