Well, I know another AMIP fan on Tumblr, but I don't know if she registered here. Would be cool, tho. Also, we always get new members - why do they never write here?

Beats me... At times I can't help but wonder if they're really people or just bots. :/ Would be nice if they'd say hi, at least.

Gosh, I didn't think of the possibility of them being a bot! And agreed, it's such a shame. Such a good movie. If I would have discovered it just when it came out! >.<

Yeah, I wish I'd actually PAID ATTENTION when 2 comics I follow featured either La Seine or Francoeur himself. It wasn't until.... almost a year after the fact, when I was re-reading them, that I finally went to check it out & fell in love. And this place was already dead by that time.

Well, for me, actually wanted to watch it when it came out in Germany. But sadly I lost interest of it and then also lost track of it. The stores don't feature it anymore. I got on it again when I discovered my love for the Phantom of the Opera, mainly because of a web comic called "Requiem Mask" (which brought me many great friends) and after a while I remembered there is this "lousy copy of PotO for kids" and that I should at least have a look at that "cheap story" Guess I was totally wrong. I really thought it would be a bad copy with the same story of PotO. I've never been that wrong with a movie!

Well for me it started with looking up La Seine on Youtube, and finding that clip instead of just the song. I was hooked. |D

I see! Also pretty nice, better than watching it with that disappointed face, that just changed when the movie was going on xD

Haha, yeah.
A few days ago I found The Brave Little Toaster (an old childhood favorite) on Youtube and watched it for the first time in years.... It's a lot darker than I remembered it being, now that I can understand everything that happens in it. And it's giving me ideas.....

Hm, sadly I never heard of that! Should I watch it? Or... will it give me ideas too? XD

Yeah, it's a pretty old movie, it was released in 1987, and it never did gain much popularity. But I recommend it.

Hm, I thought about doing one, but I'm not good at bugs xD I have no idea what kind of bug I could use, and to be frank, there are so many great OCs I've seen here - I doubt I can do one that would be at least a bit as good as they are! xD Maybe I should think about it more, maybe I get a nice idea I am not good at doing Ocs xD Personas are easier for me :3
