The cat met up with Linnea, guideing her to a safe spot.
"Im sure you want some answers." He said, noticing Alphonse. He gave a small smile to the aphid. He then turned back to Linnea.
"What do you want to know most?" He asked. "Probaly why I can talk and about this little guy here, huh?"

[ I've been following this rp and wanting to join in, so I hope you don't mind. I'm introducing Roxanne and Dacio. Pardon, I'll put up a profile for Dacio soon. ^.^" And out of curiosity...how tall is Min? I can see him easily being 8, 9 feet tall, perhaps taller. O.o ]
The night was a pleasant time for a creature like her. The thick mist made it even more enjoyable. Roxanne was strolling on the rooftops of houses, enjoying the night and its delightful silence. A smaller creature was following her with not nearly as much nimbleness as the mantis. "Remember, we can't stray too far from the rest of our group." the second creature, apparently male, reminded.
"I want to be away from them for now, Dacio. I can't stand being around them for so long." Roxanne retorted back with a huff, "Why did you have to follow anyway?"
Dacio allowed a small, cheeky grin, "To make sure you don't do somethin' rash. If we get into any sort of trouble..."
"We won't." she stopped and looked back at him, "What trouble could we get into? I will either kill them or scare them off. Besides, you'll only get in the way, ant."
"Bullet ant, thank you very much." Dracio crossed one set of arms and waved the other set around as he spoke, "I can pack a punch if I want to. Like I said, just keepin' you safe. We don't need to stir something up."
Roxanne was naturally an arrogant creature to her "friends," or allies, as she called them, but Dracio had gotten used to it quite quickly. In fact, her acts of superiority over their small rabble drew him in as an appealing trait. It was difficult being a drone and having no one to work for or at least feel close to and assist. The mantis rolled her eyes and was about to speak, but instead she froze.
A puzzled look came to the ant's face as he stared at her. "Rox...what is it?"
She tipped her head to the side, antennae twitching slightly. "I hear something...sounds like a scuffle. It's nearby."
He shrugged. "May as well check it out?"
Roxanne was quick to sprint and leap from rooftop to rooftop, but Dracio trudged behind. He wished he was a faster insect. He saw the mantis stop at the edge of a building and wait impatiently for him to catch up and when he did, he asked while catching his breath, "What...what is it?"
"Look down."
He looked down to see a horrid sight. A large, beastly-looking beetle was picking on another insect. Another ant, of all creatures! Sure, he didn't look like the same species, but that didn't matter to him. "This don't look too good...Wow, looket the size of that guy! He's huge!"
Roxanne looked at him dully, then back at the scene. Right...size doesn't matter to her, he thought. For a 5'4" insect, plenty of others seemed large compared to him. She, on the other hand, didn't care, even if the creature was bigger than her and she was tall to start off with. Her almost almond-shaped eyes of different shades of grey watched, then flicked up as a strange shadow blurred down from the building's rooftop across from them.
"LEAVE HIM!"
It was a human.
A blasted human.
Her expression turned to one of shock as the woman landed on the large beetle. He didn't seem to enjoy having the extra weight on his back and in the process, dropped the ant he was torturing. While Roxanne was perplexed by the arising scuffle between the beetle and the human, Dracio watched the dusty-red ant drag himself from the two. "...We should help him."
She stifled a laugh. "You...want to help the pathetic creature? Looks more like an easy meal to me..." her mandibles tapped against her mouth and she groomed the spines on one of her powerful raptorial arms.
"Let's not be disgusting about this. Remember what you've learned in our group. We help other insects. There's no point of killing them off. All of us get enough BS from most humans anyway. Though...that lady seems different."
Without letting her give him her response, he turned and leapt over a few more roofs to make sure he was out of the beetle's and the human's sights. She huffed and followed.
Once the injured ant crawled from the sight of the scuffling duo, Dracio latched onto the side of the building he was on and slid down into the alleyway. Once he landed on the ground, he rose his hands disarmingly, hoping that he didn't startle the other ant too badly. "Easy, brother..." he whispered, "We're goin' to get you outta here. It's no good lettin' one bug kill another here."
With a brief flutter, Roxanne landed behind Dracio. Her sharp, aggressive eyes glared down at the injured ant, but she didn't step forward. "Rox, perhaps you should help the human. She'll wind up dead." Dracio spoke.
She crossed her arms. "Me? Help a human? Pathetic heap of flesh. Humans aren't worth helping..."
"She helped this one get away. Doesn't that count?"
"Hmph."
Dracio looked back at the injured ant and stepped forward to help him up. "Let's get you outta here..."
Roxanne hunched slightly and kept focused on the direction of the scuffle. Unlike her, Dracio wasn't a very quiet creature and if they were heard, only then would she defend them. All three of them. The human didn't matter to her. Their safety did.

This just was not his day. Not at all.
And it just got worse.
Situs merely stared at the two other insects , one was an ant from what he could tell, the other was a species he didn’t knew nor care to know, he narrowed his eyes as the ant approached him.
“I’m nah ye broth’r, mate.” Situs hissed between clenched jaws, trying to stand up and move away from the unwanted presence of the newcomers.
“Nor do I want yer help.” He spat out, ignoring the look on the other ant’s face as he started to walk away using the wall for support. Bugger this alley. It was far to bloody crowded for his taste.

Grabbing hold of what seemed like the beast's horn, she brought down her arm, the downward momentum of her reckless jump giving it an extra edge.
-Gooink!Goink!Goink!Goink!-
She kept hitting, slamming, whacking, lobbing, each time the thoroughly worn iron pan made contact with whatever the hell the monster's face was made of, a resounding "Gooink!" would echo and ring in her ears.
Stilling whacking, Siofra just happened to glance over to the fallen victim, whom was now scrambling up and just hightailed it down the alleyway, not even looking back.
"Hey! Hey! You cowardly bastard get BACK HERE! Get BACK AND AT LEAST THANK ME!"
She stopped clobbering and waved the cooking utensil at the fast retreating figure. “Hey!”
Leaning away from the brute she was currently clinging onto she shouted another profanity, not noticing her handhold was slipping. Dropping the frying pan to grab at the horn, her shoes slipping on the hard shell and kicking at the air, she cursed and yelped when a huge hand suddenly clamped down on her hand, lifting her away from the horn and left to dangle before the brute’s front.
It’s face was huge and dark, scars from lord-knew what trailing over random parts of its skin, a lone antennae twitched and trembled as it seemed look her over, strangely blue colored slitten eyes roaming over her body and seeming to hold a little intelligence despite the beastly appearance.
“L-L-L-Let me go! Puh-please!’’ with her free hand Sio clawed at the talons, with only resulted in tightening them to the point of pain.
‘’You cost me my prey…’’ –Sio squeaked, it ‘he’, talked! He could talk!
‘’…h-h-he wasn’t, he wasn’t yer prey to being with, now let me down!’’Foolish! Foolish girl shut yer trap and get out of there! Her mind screamed, cringing when she didn’t stop her idiotic brave talk, she was so very afraid, and yet she couldn’t express the emotion properly. All that repressed emotion, even when it could save her life she just could not allow herself to feel it.
"…Foolish, very foolish of you to stop me…now, since you cost me my meal for the evening-''-'' The beast brought her closer, lifting three other arms, each tipped with sharp taloned hands.-‘’…you will take his place…let’s hope for the both of us that you taste better than those filthy men…’’ A glint of metal drew her attention from the claws at her throat, without thinking she kicked out and hit the beast under his jaw, the neck brace with fearsome spikes digging back into his raw neck.
With a roar the monster dropped her, Sio landed badly and rolled away, wasting no time in reaching for the pan and sprinting down the other end of the alley, going back to the square to reach her home.
Hopefully in time.

Instant pain. That’s all he felt shoot through is limbs when she attacked. But his agony did not steam from the blow itself. Oh no, his hide was far to thick to feel that measly tap. He’d had bullets make more of an impact than that. But the metal collar on the other hand… now THAT hurt. The sharp edges pressed hard against his open and raw throat, eating further into the fresh wounde, causing him to throw his head back with an earth shaking roar.
His grip unconsciously loosened, giving that impudent little worm just enough leeway to wiggle herself free. And she took that opportunity gladly, tumbling to the ground in a heap of arms and thrashing legs, scrambling to her feet only to shot up and dash for the nearest escape route. She didn’t so much as give a backwards glance, slipping further from his reach to vanish like the mist at morning’s first light.
Both the sight, and the pain, mingled together into a churning cauldron of rage.
Min gave another deafening roar, tearing at the neck brace; feverishly gnawing his lip as the bitter, pain filled tears prickled across his vision. She would pay for what she did. That filthy human would rue the day she had crossed paths with him. He guaranteed it!
With a snap the metal crumbled underneath his strength, it’s heaviness resting in his claws like a bothersome weight that had been lifted from his shoulders.. His second set of hands rubbed the raw wounds, tapping at the more sensitive areas, all the while the others twisted the collar into a tight ball. It would never hold him down again, or suffocate the life out of him or any other such atrocity the humans saw fit to thrust upon his soul.
Crushing it into a brick wall, his focus swiveled back towards the alleys mouth.
He had a decision to make and either choice would ultimately lead to the same end. Track down the other insect or chase after the female. Each scent still hung fresh in the air, though they branched out in different directions.
Turning his head in from side to side, he massaged his neck again; scowl deepening.
The girl first. Logic dictated that she posed the most danger. Not from what she could physically do, heavens no. That frying pan attack had been laughable. And had he not been so consumed with his own amusement he would have pulverized her to a bloody mess. The authorities she COULD call did pose a threat. And the last thing he needed was to be hounded and caged so soon after his self release.
Tearing through the alley, he finally spotted the woman dashing through her back door. And there, just to the left of it, stood a large, 2 door basement entrance bolted shut. Bolted to keep intruders out. To keep her safe. A sinister sneer rose from the corner of his mouth, its dark intentions reaching all the way to his eyes. Safe? From me? Hehe. Not for long
His massive form darted across the street, reaching the house in less than ten strides. With a flick of his wrist the locks fell away, granting him access into her sanctuary.

The cat had caught up with her and seemed to take the lead, bringing them to a safe place to rest, far away from the mad man. She leaned against the wall to catch her breath when the cat suddenly spoke to her. She sprang up from the wall as if it had burned her and stared wide-eyed at the cat, clutching the creature she had rescued close to her chest.
"Y-Y-You can speak!" she squeaked, "But--How--Why--What?"
"I'm sure you want some answers." it said. "Probably why I can talk and about this little guy here, huh?"
She nodded dumbly, then looked down at the green creature in her arms. The aphid peered up at her with those bright green eyes, fear and worry shining in them.
He chirped softly, hoping she wouldn't leave him. She had protected him and showed him kindness. That made her a friend, didn't it?
It was scary and lonely being by himself, especially in this strange new place.

The feline sat down and looked up at the girl.
"There's a place in the city that has...some sort of magic water." He began. "It's what's making the bugs huge. I don't know if they had it straight or not. Myself, I drank some diluted in water."
He looked at Alphonse and let out a small trill. "I'm guessing he's new. I haven't seen him around before. I do try to keep tabs on the others. I figured we'd need to look out for each other. As you can see, we're being hunted. Hunted because we are seen as different and to them, that makes us monsters."
He flicked his tail a bit. "Please, be careful around that boy." He nodded back to where the other alley was. "He's the one who started the hunt. And now that he knows your face...he'll be after you and the young one."
((Durr...I could have used Pasquale instead of Stanley. I'll add him in later. He needs more love!))

Lin blinked, still a bit dumbfounded by the large talking cat. Never mind what he was saying made absolutely no sense. Magic water? Giant bugs? It sounded like mere fantasy. It was crazy! And yet... the small creature in her arms and even the cat himself seemed to lend credence to his words.
The cat went on to explain that these creatures were being hunted, that they were considered monsters by the people who had seen them and she could hardly blame them. Most people were easily frightened by things that were new or different. People feared the unknown. Even SHE had been frightened, at first. It had only been thanks to her curiosity and compassion that she had overcome that initial fear.
"Please, be careful around that boy." the cat nodded back to where the other alley was. "He's the one who started this hunt. And now that he knows your face...he'll be after you and the young one."
She nodded slowly, "D-D'accord... S-Suppose.. I believe all this.. What am I supposed to do?"

He was not sure where ever he was…he had taken multiple turns [and unknown to him he had almost perfectly circled around] in his hurry to escape the behemoth and the other insects.
Spotting an open entrance so some human cellar Situs debating if he were to us it or not to use it as a temporary shelter.
Well it was for one night, so with a quick look around to ensure no one saw him, he crawled in to the basement…

No more monsters, no nightmarish fiends, no beasts from the very pits of hell. Not here, not in her home, she was safe here, and while it was childish of her to keep repeating it, having that sentence like a mantra played over and over and over in her mind, it felt safe, like a child leaving a candle lit, or by having the parent to say a protective lullaby.
No more monsters, no nightmarish fiends, no beasts from the very pits of hell.
Pressing her face deeper into her pillow Sio willed sleep to take her, to rest her wary self and to wake up in the morning, maybe stressed, but alive and well, safe.
No more monsters, no nightmarish fiends, no beasts from the very pits of hell. No more monsters, no nightmarish fiends, no beasts from the very pits of hell. No more monsters, no nightmarish fie-CRASH!-“Ahh!’’ Siofra lurched forward, her loose hair tumbling over her shoulders, heart beating a miles pace.
There was something in her house! She’d heard the sound of breaking glass before, being a teacher to children wasn’t without hearing the sound of breaking objects, no matter how careful you were. Clutching the bed sheets to her chest, thinking, thinking what to do, what to do? ‘’I need to get out…or should I call the authorities?’’ After her last encounter with a horror she rather not see even in her dreams or even her nightmares, Sio had her fill of scary meetings. ‘’Authorities…’’ She got up, kicking her legs free from the sheets as they strangled around her, making her stumble.
“Gerrof!’’ Grabbing a dressing gown seemed petty, she needed to call them, it wasn’t as if the police could ogle her nightie through the walls, and by the time they would arrive, she’d have it on. Right now, she needed to get downstairs to the phone.
Tiptoeing down the hallway, Sio leaned over the banister .Nothing in the front hall then, perhaps the backdoor, she probably hadn’t locked it properly…
Another crash had her electing a squeak of fright, backing up to the opposite wall. ‘’I must be out of my mind!’ Sio seemed to be right; she had to be barking! Slipping silently down the stairs Siofra strained her ears for more sounds, trying to pinpoint where exactly the burglars were, and her chances of running into them.
The Kitchen
Putting on a brave face, now mellowed since her shock, she inched her way into the hall, living room to her left, the kitchen with dining room adjoined to her far right, the light from the tiny paned window next to her front door shedding the smallest amount of illumination. Creeping over the floorboards Siofra nudged the swing door with a steady knuckle, just enough for her to peek through with one eye.
M-m-m-m-m-monster! The very same one! Granted the dark little kitchen didn’t offer the best view onto the beast, the hulking mass and the elongated shapes on top were clues enough. This was the same beast she had attacked, and it, ‘’ he’’ , in turn her.
He was preoccupied with thoroughly destroying her cabinets, shoving aside the packets’ and cans and jars, splattering on the floor with a noise like clash-tinkle, and SPla-tatatatata. Also the sounds that came from him, larges gulps of air in between maw-full of food, a lot of the food not even landing in his mouth as he shook container after container of edibles empty.
''Starved…and hungry…’’ No doubt she would make a tasty side dish.
Slowly she withdrew from the door, keeping as quiet as a mouse by holding in her breath. Once she had distanced herself by leaning against the doorframe into the living room, a good 10 feet away from the kitchen, she let herself breathe again, quietly. Unfortunately not quite silent enough.
The loud inhuman noises from the beast stopped so sudden Siofra thought she had turned deaf, if not for the earth shattering CRASH of wood against the wall.
Hulking, panting heavily with smudges and pieces of food sticking to his drooling chin, the monster’s eyes locked onto her form with laser-like intensity.
And then he was in front of her, lifting her up in the air by the laced front of her night gown, dangling several feet in the air. Again. Sio wasn’t too happy with being manhandled, even thought she had brought it on herself, besides, hanging from her nightie, not her best moment. ‘’PUT ME DOWN!’’
‘’…no…’’
Hanging on to the beast’s wrist, trying to keep her weight off the strained clothe in his grip, her gown wasn’t made for being used as a hat-and-coat-stand!
The monster shook her, and Sio could practically feel the seams staining, the tiniest of ripping noises. Her legs kicked at the wall, her heels trying to gain some form of support, never mind her life, her garment was more important.
"Did you think you could escape?" He shook her again. "Ignorant wench" He hissed at her, his voice low and rumbling like thunder rolling in.. " I'll make you pay for what you did." Again he shook her, this time lifting her higher, closer to his face, his breath stale and like the smell of rusted metal.
Sio was very aware of the maw that had opened up wide, perhaps to take a bite out of her face, or to roar and then bite off her face.
But she could only hear the loudest noise in her whole life; the sound of fabric giving in and being torn apart. SLLLLeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeett!

SLLLLeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeett!
Min watched the tiny female fall to the ground, her nightie screeching its finale swan song as it gave way to her weight. Her feet crumpled underneath her like strips of paper, summoning a pain filled yelp once her knees rammed into the floor boards. She gnawed her lip feverishly to hold down any further noises, pushing with both handsinto a half sitting half bowing position, leaving her at just the right angle for him to see a side of Sio she had never, ever wanted anyone to see.
Especially him.
Min gave a fleeting glance at the shredded fabric in his clutch, then back towards her fully exposed, breast’s; hungrily gawking as they bobbed with each movement she made. He licked his lips, finding his temperature spiking despite the present chill.
Siofra crawled away from his intense stare, suddenly realizing exactly what he held in his claws. It didn’t take long before her mind pieced together the sound, the coldness clinging to her chest and that strange look he held.
She quickly covered her front, scrambling to her legs. “Y-you-you-you PERVERTED ANIMAL! Get out of here, get out BEAST!”
Min threw the tattered strands aside, leaping after her just as she dashed for the front door. “No! Git away from me!” She screamed bloody murder, chucking a stray book at his head. He dodged the attack effortlessly, though a metallic figurine DID smack him upside the temple. He snapped another glare towards the woman, who by this time was still locked in a throwing position. Her eyes widened, bottom lip trembled, knee’s wobbling as if threatening to give out yet again.
Opening his maw, he advanced, rounding around a love seat, a couch until chucking the table behind him (smacking into a still disorientated ant who had followed the racket only to be knocked back into the cellar.)
KerTHUNK. Another metal knick knack crashed into his head. SMASH! A glass orb on his chest plate. CHINK THUNK THUD! Handful after handful of trinkets collided against his body, despite the fact he swatted a majority of them away, grumbling and snarling at the nerve she possessed. “Ha. Ha HA!” She laughed nervously, struggling to find more weapons to chuck and cover herself at the same time, “I-I-I can do this all n-night!”
His patience finally waned, kicking a side table in her direction.
Sio ducked just in the nick of time, covering her head as the furniture burst against the wall above, showering her with bits of wood and metal screws.
“Aarrrggggh!” the woman hissed, cradling the back of her scalp. A heavy table leg had bounced off and hit her, making her vision blur there for a second. And that second was all it took for the monster to close the distance between them, snatching up her shoulder in a bruising hold. “N-no, stay away from me. I‘m warning ye!”
Huff huff huff. This woman was starting to get on his nerves. “Shut the fuck up already.” His hand slammed her against the wall, her head snapping back to knock even more stars before her eyes.
“Gaah. You think yer so strong?” She gritted, both hands twisting to get his meaty paw off her, “Think yee 'are t' be feared? HAH!”
Laughing at him again? This was one stupid human… and he’d meet quite a few ignorant worms in his life. But this one…. This one was just BEGGING to be gutted. “That IS the idea, prrrrrecious.” His sneer worked wonders, as did the increasing pressure on her shoulder. He snickered for every whimper she produced, finding her pathetic struggles all the more amusing.
“Fine, kill me then. That’s what you came here for!” Ballsy chit. “But when yer done killing me, its not over. I’ll be missed, police will get informed, they’ll find this place TRASHED and they’ll find you, eventually.”
So THAT’S what she was getting at.
His face inched lower towards hers, curling his lip back, growling softly a scant centimeter from her now. Hot, rancid breath fanned across her once brave expression, his eyes shifting with thought. A loan antennae twitched above his right eye, causing Sio to flinch for every time it tapped across her hair, her skin, caressing her flushed cheeks and puffy eyes.
He eventually pulled a fraction away, dragging large gust of air into his lungs. “Your smell is the only one in this house. Exactly WHO is going to give two shits if I rip this pretty little head off your shoulders?” His claw grazed across her chin, sliding down towards her throat, pressing hard into the rapidly pounding pulse.
Biting back a cry of pain, a little pang of lonely sorrow ate at her heart from his cruel yet truthful words. There really was no-one here save herself. No-one to really care should she fall off the face of the earth. "I-I work at a children’s school, they expect me each morning, if I dont show or announce myself sick... T-they’ll come here.''
His brow ridge rose.
''They’ll search the house, send nurses, send authorities... They’ll know I’m gone, and if they find my corpse, ridden with bites and claw marks....a monster set loose in Paris, can you imagine the mob that will hunt ye?”
A faint flicker of fear passed over his features. This woman made a very good point, that much he was sure. He briefly searched the house once again, as if searching for these people who called for his blood, taking in the dark shadows and curtain drawn windows with a suspicious eye. Not a sound could be heard outside or in other than their rapid breaths. “Well, I suppose a few more wont hurt me none. I'm already hunted.” His claws sank deep into her paling flesh, “What difference does it make? Just more human's I get the pleasure of killing.”
“Arrrrrrg! Let me GO!” Her struggles were reborn, hissing and spatting, trying to dislodge the dagger-like talons from her body, “Uhhhhg, you're afraid, I can practically smell it. Let me the hell go and I’ll… I’ll never speak of this day to a living soul ever again! Please.”
For a brief moment he debated the possibilities back and forth. One side argued ending her life would be the sure fire way to keep a person permanently quiet. Hence the right choice rested upon her gruesome demise. But his eyes constantly fell upon those jiggling things upon her chest, swaying, trembling, bouncing up and down for every jerk she made. And he couldn't... look... away.
What sorcery was this?
Min lowered himself to a squat, studying her up and down; from her desperate expression to the thrashing legs smacking useless against his stomach. Then straight back at her chest. What a curious feeling they gave him, urging him to touch and taste. Curious indeed. His eyes were dragged back towards her face when one of her arms covered herself. A different kind of fear masked her now, one that had a very different smell. What did she think he would do?
‘Exactly what you planned on doing.’ His brow ridges lowered, unleashing a deep, agitated growl, ’Monster. You’re a monster. Do you think she would really want to… to do that with you?’
“No….” he half whispered, sinking lower to the ground so that they were eye level. “Should I let you live.…”
Siofra listened intently, a hopeful spark filling her.
“What guarantee do I have,” He turned her head to study the various angles, “that you wont slip up,” nick’s her throat, “and send every huntsman in gay Paris after my head?”
“And expect you back on my arse? I might be a woman but I'm not stupid. After seeing a monstrosity such as yerself, I'd rather keep my mouth shut. Never to whisper this to anyone. Ever! I swear to you I wont.”
She waited with baited breath. Her heart hammering, watching her words tumble around his thoughts. He tilted his head to one side, drawing out a long, tense pause. And then… “Fine.”
“W-wot?”
His claws retracted from both her shoulder and throat, letting her slump to the ground in a quivering heap of confusion. He was… letting her go?
She didn’t have long to recover, quickly finding all four of his arms slammed on either side of her head, caging her to the wall. The only light to pierce through the darkness were his eyes, and they churned with the darkest emotions Sio had ever found herself entrapped in.
“Lets make a deal then.”
“D-d-deal?”
He nodded slowly, “I'll spare your pathetic life.... If.”
“If.. Wot?”
Min gave a fleeting look around her living room, smirking, “I like your house.”
“...T-t-thanks....wait, what?”
“Keep your mouth shut and do as I say and we'll get along just fine” He patted her head like a child, standing to his full height - with her in tow - tossing her none to gently down the hall and horse laughing when she stumbled to the ground.
“Wha-! Okay, firstly, I will NOT be manhandled in my own HOUSE. Secondly, I think I would like you to leave, NOW!” She puffed out, finding her nerves raw from this nights excursions (completely disregarding she was not only alive but naked as well.) She pointed a finger to the front door, motioning for him to make his exit.
Min, on the other hand, just crossed his arms, giving her another once over with a look that said ‘are you going to make me?’
“Maybe you didn‘t hear me the first time, so let me spell it out how things are going to work from now on.” He took a step towards her, “This is MY house now.” Another heavy step, “You‘re gonna provide for me,” two more steps, backing her into the stairs, “And should you even think about screwing me over….” A fist went completely through the wall on her left, effortlessly smashing a picture of HER. “Do you understand now?”
She nodded numbly, blinking back the tears that threatened to spill over.
“Good.”

"Stay close to someone you know, or in populated areas. He wont attack you unless he's sure you are alone. He does'nt want his reputation ruined." He swipped a paw over his ears.
"If you want to, seek out Pasquale von Schnable. He's got a safe house for the critters. He might be able to help out, even help keep this little one safe."

His eyes slowly open from the deep slumber he had been in. He blinks his eyes into focus and cracks all his joints.
.There seemed to be more that he was cracking than he was familiar with., as he looks himself over. He definitely did not recall himself ever being this… big.
He looks around at the cold, dark storage room. The only illumination allowing him to see at all was coming from a small opened window. Standing up on his wobbly twig-like legs and hobbles to the window. As much as he had grown, he was not tall enough to reach the window. Walking over to a crate he yanks and pulls at it over to the window, and hops up on top of it. His hand touches the open part of the glass as he pops his head partially out and looks around.
The streets looked unfamiliar looking side to side. He tries crawl out but he doesn’t fit easily. Squeezing his shoulders downward and sucking air in, he struggles and pops out the window. How did he fit through that in the first place?
He looks around and sees empty streets on either side of the lonely, abandoned warehouse as if a soul hasn’t passed down them in years. That doesn’t look too friendly he thinks to himself with a shiver. He peers down the night blackened streets as an old memory begins to floods his mind.
The streets begin to brighten as the dead street lamps flicker to life and ghost like figures of factory workers. He looks up at the rooftop and sees a pair of red eyes. A smaller version of himself, watching the phantoms fearfully as he slowly times for the next passing shadows away. The puppy sized flea jumps down and quickly runs to the window the Present Him just came out of, passing right through him as he gracefully hops through the window.
So that’s how I got in there… He looks at himself over again realizing he grew probably to the size of human teenager…. I must have been growing while I slept down there… How long ago was this? …. How long have I been asleep? How did I start growing?
His focus was attracted back to where his past self was at. On the rooftops, hiding in the shadows. But why? Maybe…. If he followed where he came from…. He could find out the answers to his questions…
He wasn’t positive, but he felt like he may have jumped up there. Closing his eyes, he bent his legs and put all his force into a mighty leap. Not only did he jump up to the rooftop, but soared above and way past it. He could see a beautifully lit city. It called out to him, and he, full of curiosity, wanted to answer back. A stirring sense of excitement and fear made his stomach quiver. He slowly was being brought back from his sailing height and positioned himself to land on another rooftop.
This time he made sure not to put so much in this jump as he sailed across multiple buildings. He landed on a building and looked curiously at the people below. Their happy faces annoyed him for reasons he didn’t know why. The cry of a newspaper man echoed out. “Chaos gripping the city as monster on the loose.”
The overgrown flea tilted his head. That word intrigued him… Chaos…. Not sure what it means, but sounds catchy… Chaos… Chaos… Chaos…. Flows nicely off the tip of his tongue.. I like it.
He takes another couple of leaps, and looks sulkishly at the city below. Everyone belonged, except him. There is a place to lay his head, and not a place where he could hide. How could he ever fit in with this happy human world? Was there no one like him? A flea? A bug? Even a fly like him? Silly thinking, but he couldn’t help but at least dream and imagine. With each leap he imagined happy bug couples walking down the streets. Little larvaes being cuddled and pushed in those pushing cradles instead of those ugly pinkish things that were loud and annoying. Annoying… All of them.. those squishy humans.
He stopped and wiped a tear away. Alone… So … Alone… Alo- Wait…. He sniffed the air… Something was different in this part of the city… It did not smell like these fleshbags… Or of animals.. Or of the light crispy air of the shining city… It smelt… Impossible… It smelt a little like him.
That doesn’t make any sense.. Smell like Him?
Is this just another memory flooding his mind? How would that be possible after all this time?
Well, if it leads to another clue of what to do next, he will gladly follow. He double checks the direction of the scent and hops pursuit.

The shock and awe at the cat's ability to speak had wore off enough for her to think straight and she nodded at his advice. It was then that it suddenly dawned on her that she had just run off in the middle of her shift! Oh, mon Dieu! Monsieur Bouchard was going to kill her! She had to get back to the restaurant!
But--
She looked down at the bundled creature in her arms. She had to deal with this first. Linnea quickly glanced around at the area. Okay, they weren't far from her apartment. She'd just take it home, then run back to the restaurant and... try to talk her way out of this mess...
"H-Hey... Monsieur Chat! Um... I.. I-I must get back to the restaurant. My-my boss... he'll fire me and I really need that job. If I take this little, uh.. bug-thing back to my apartment, would you... keep him safe until I return?"
She must be crazy... she was asking a talking cat to babysit a giant bug. Mon Dieu...

((Hope no one minds if I add Giac into this...))
The trip from the wild bushlands of Queensland, Australia to the bustling streets of Paris, France had been a long and harrowing one, and not at all pleasant, but at least he was here now. Or was he? This... seemed like the right place. All the signs were written in a strange foreign language (French, he assumed) and... there was a river. Le Scene... or.. La Seine, or whatever these people called it. And he was sure he'd seen a sign with the word "Paris" written on it...
Bloody hell...
If it hadn't been for that screw-up at the docks in Rouen, he wouldn't be in this mess. He'd been such a good sport about all this, too. Most bugs probably woulda been scared outta their tiny lil minds by now, thrust into this strange new world and then shipped halfway across the planet in a giant wooden crate, only to get lost in transit and have to find their own way to Paris. He was being a bloody good sport. Not that he wasn't scared... he was, quite a lot really... he just knew how to deal with it.
So, here he was, lost in Paris (at least he hoped this was Paris. God help him, if he'd wound up lost somewhere else in France. It was hard enough being lost in Rouen's port. At least there he had the ship to return to. Now, he was stranded.) Anyway, lost in Paris (he hoped), wandering these narrow streets and alleyways, avoiding the local population of humans and trying not to draw attention to himself.
Now the only problem was... finding this "Professor". Dr. Thorne had told him about the man, said he was a botanist, a... plant scientist, someone who understood and experimented with the chemical properties of plants. Dr. Thorne had said this man could help him.
Help him...
Help him how? Return him to the way he was? Back to being a tiny lil insect with no memory of this wild adventure? Or... help him adapt to this new way of life?
Either way, he had no choice, but to seek out this "Professor".

Chaos goes to make another leap and in mid jump, pain starts shooting through him. He partially lands on a building but unable to get a steady landing from shuddering through the pain. He falls from the rooftop and his small body lands with a heavy thud on the ground, barely missing newcomer from Australia.
