Estelle Estelle is a spunky eighteen year old and kind-hearted individual who, from the day she was born is blind. After the death of her parents at the tender age of six, Estelle takes care of other orphans like her by working at the local bakery and using her singing talents to entertain street patrons. Despite not having the ability to see, Estelle gets around perfectly well with her unique “flaw” as she puts it. With having the lack of sight, Estelle’s other senses have heighten; to the point of hearing a coin being dropped two block away during the busiest time in the day or smelling something along that same distance. While working for the bakery, Estelle amazes the staff with her ability to work within such a busy shop being blind and bake the best pastries in Paris. Though, it does help when everything is in its rightful place and nothing is blocking her path – there were times Estelle accidently put other ingredients in a mix or has hurt herself by tripping over a stool. Routines help. When not working at the bakery, Estelle sings to the people on the streets to collect money to help care of the other orphans. ~~~ Estelle is my own character that I’ve created for an AMIP/UMAP sequel story. The idea I had for the sequel is children in Paris have been slowly disappearing overnight and the citizens are blaming “the monster of Paris”. Still tweaking with the details, but that’s the basic idea so far Attachments:

She seems pretty cool! Like'er design, too.
And regarding two blind characters on the forum; doesn't seem that great a deal to me, seeing as being blind is a single characteristic. (Even if being blind influences their character greatly, they seem pretty different other than that. I think. .)

Edith Bonheur
Edith was once a beautiful young woman who had a wonderful life ahead of her. She was a fantastic artist and was quite well known, and got quite a profit off of her paintings. Art was her life. She lived and breathed art.
Then one day, depression struck. Edith was no longer motivated to do the things that once kept her alive. Her younger brother, a snotty journalist, refused to help her. He told her to get over it and move on, dubbing her sickness as an act for attention because her art wasn't as captivating as it once was.
Edith became a hermit. The only time she went outside was for booze runs. She rarely painted, and when she did, the results were mediocre and uninspiring.
She of course started running out of money and decided to work some odd jobs to pay rent and cover for booze.
Eventually, though, she got tired of feeling the way she did and started to paint again.
Now, she is a woman in her thirties. She is an alchoholic. Her fair, slender figure is usually hunched over in her favorite chair. Her dark scraggly hair hovers over her shoulders and her grey eyes peek out from the shadow of her velvet hat. She usually has a wide grin full of train-wrecked teeth. Her hygiene is poor and she loves to paint at the park and scare children. And drink.
meh, just a concept. feedback would be great.
