It was odd how open she was with Aurore- Aurore was a bug! An over sized ball of fluff with broken grammar and a childish personality! Who'd ever want to talk to such a being as her? Apparently this strange human doesn't mind. "I non have problem eat or see," explained Aurore "can do on own." She allowed her antenna to raise again, feeling safe that it'd not be touched. "Aunt est. . other human?"

"Oui. The same one who so flustered over you eating one of her dresses. Don't worry though, despite all her flaws, she's still quite nice."
And speak of the devil, Adeline could hear her aunt coming to the kitchen.
"Better hide your antennae before she sees you." she whispered to Aurore.
At that moment, Aunt Regine game in with a relieved look on her face.
"Well, good news. I was able to replace that dress with an even better dress to replace it. Here." the old woman handed it over to her niece to feel. "Its made from imported Chinese silk. Could you imagine all the finest silkworm cocoons they had to harvest? A shame they have to die in order for something like this to be made."

Aurore scooted closer to Adeline, flattening her feelers. She wondered if her four arms and the wings against her back would give her away. So long as she wasn't really looked at, she should be fine. As soon as her aunt came in, she began talking. A lot, actually. She stared at the dress- tempted to snatch it and bite holes all into it despite being rather full from the cherries earlier.
"Could you imagine all the finest silkworm cocoons they had to harvest?" her interest shifted back to the aunt. "A shame they have to die in order for something like this to be made." Making a face, Aurore suddenly felt disgusted with herself for wanting to eat a dress made from the pain of those poor silkworms. Had they lived, they'd have become moths.

"Well, I better put this on display for any potential customers. Make sure your little doggy friend doesn't get into anymore trouble."
As the old woman left Adeline sighed in relief.
"That was a close one." she added. "You know, in all my years, I never though the most decent conversations I would have with would come from a giant fuzzy moth."

Aurore looked at Adeline, grinning at the compliment. Her antennas rose and she puffed out her chest. "Merci!" she said happily. Suddenly, realization dawned on her that she didn't know this humans name. "Comment vous appelez-vous? Name?" she then asked.

"Adeline" she replied. "And do you have a name as well?"

Aurore nodded vigorously. "Aurore- Dawn!"

"Pleasure to meet you Aurore." said Adeline and felt over to one of Aurore's four arms to shake her tiny hand.

"Same!" she replied with a smile. She nearly flinched her arm away, before realizing Adeline was trying to take her hand. Shaking it a bit awkwardly, Aurore yawned a bit. It was growing close to night, but having a full belly made her lazy. She laid back and stretched out comfortably, before turning onto her belly and stretching out that way as well.

Adeline could tell Aurore was getting tired; after a large meal like that, she wouldn't blame her.
"Why don't you sleep with me tonight? Its gonna get cold later and it wouldn't feel right if you were to freeze to death."

Scratching her tummy, she sat back up and looked at Adeline. "Sleep?" she questioned. "Sleep in light." it was her way of saying she slept in the day. Even though she did know the word day, light sounded much better in her mind.

"Oh, you already slept earlier?" Adeline asked, seeing if she was getting what the little moth was saying.
"Well, I can sense its gonna rain soon, so I think its probably best to stay here for a while until it passes."
And speak of the devil, a loud pitter-patter of rain echoed out on the rooftop.

"Oui." Aurore replied, seeing as she did, in fact, sleep earlier. Her antennas flattened on her head at the word 'rain'. Oh, how she despised rain! It was so noisy- and wet! She really wanted to get out. Being cooped up during the active part of her life would end up with her restless. "Hate rain!" she exclaimed, crossing her arms.

"I know, rain isn't fun when you have to stay cooped up in your house, but it doesn't last that long." Adeline smiled. "Why don't I entertain you a bit by reading you a story?"

She blinked up at Adeline, cocking her head to the side. "Story?" a story meant fairy tales, surely. With princesses, dragons, and unicorns! At least, that's what Aurore thought stories to be. There was a wide range of genres- and she was oblivious to near everything other than fantasy.
