I'd sure as hell be drawn to my back door if I heard somebody with a voice as beautiful as his singing out there.
The doorbell thing gave me a different vibe than curiosity, he almost seems alarmed or startled, like he REALLY needs to get inside before something (or somebody) catches up to him o3o

I don't get that vibe. More like wide-eyed wonder.

...Yeeeaaahh, I played it a few times over, just that clip.
It does seem more like "OOO, What does this thing do?"

I think he might be singing, because what else would prompt Lucille to look outside if he's just sitting quietly against the wall? I also translated "sous ce manteau noir" on Google and it mean "Under this black coat" and I'm pretty sure he's wearing a black coat in that scene. Welp, I looked in the comments of a video and someone had asked what he said. They gave that person what he said in English, and I used a translator to put it back in French, :u "Je cache ma lumière sous ce manteau noir, cette écharpe rouge et chapeau." So it's like, "I hide my light under this black coat, this red scarf and this hat" or something of the like. .

Yeah, that's what I've got written under my avatar. <-- over there.
And the one in my sig is from the voice match game on the website. It's probably another verse from the same song. It translates to "I hide my heart under my shell".

The doorbell thing could've been he saw it at someone else's house and pulled on it out of curiosity. If the person came outside and saw him they would've screamed and thrown things at him, which would prompt him to find some quiet alley to sing a sad song in (one that happens to be behind the home of Lucille) I hope he is singing there, that'd be so cute :3 I actually think the song playing at that point in the trailer IS what he's singing. And, as other people have pointed out already, he appears to be singing in that ally.

That's what I've been saying. If it is, it'll be an AWESOMELY sweet and possibly sad scene.

LOL, yeah. XD Lookit his "Ooooh" face. X3 And his little smile. ^v^ D'aw, these pics are adorable XDD *saves them on her PC* As for the singing thing: Re watching the trailer, it seems to me like where he was pulling the bell or whatever it was looks slightly different from the ally where he was sitting but it was also hard to tell in the trailer as well being how dark it was. Don't know, but the buildings and streets looked a bit wider than say the ally way, let alone a bit lighter. Also the scene before that one with the lady screaming. Maybe he peeked though the window after he rang it and she saw him and freaked out, telling him 'pack my bags and get the hell out of here'. Also noticed that I didn't see the bell by Lucille's door, but she had it open so it could have been behind it.

^Not necessarily. His singing still could have drawn her out. For instance, if he rang her doorbell and suddenly she came out, he could've hidden from her at first (thinking she'd try to attack him or something) Or her aunt might have answered and made a big fuss, after which he retreated against the wall until Lucille heard his singing and looked out of curiosity. OR maybe all doorbells in Paris 1910 looked the same XD

Haha right. Unless he spied the door bell on his way inside and started to ring it. That would be uber cute!
