Lol I know what you mean. But hey, so far those half-asleep thoughts have turned out really good! I can't wait to see this story drawn out. You should do some early sketches. ;D And I'm glad you like the name! ^^
Ahh, okay okay. I see now. That makes sense. :3 I'm liking her character. She's sweet but no pushover, and her talkativeness would make her more approachable and easier to get along with. I'd imagine Franc would be interested in whatever she's going on about even if he doesn't quite understand it due to his curious nature. And omg! Human Franc with childlike curiosity is such an adorable mental image! <3
Gah! I must know how Chaos flea messes things up! D:
Awwww, Chaos you meanie! Making fun of Franc's awesome singing voice of amazingness! :< Anyway, love the interaction between them. Just shows even more how much of a villain Chaos is, his low opinion of humans, and how he really only cares about himself.
I'd imagine after that drama with about Franc being human that Lucille would be feeling a pretty left out of things. She didn't know of Franc's affections fro a girl, nor was she informed about the temporary human potions. I feel bad for her. D:
I do love the dialogues you come up with. From what can be gathered about the characters' personalities from the trailers, you're good at keeping them in character.
As long as you keep at this and work it over and over you'll be able to avoid cliché and cheesy moments. I'm very sure this will turn out better than any Disney sequel. (I agree that the second Lion King movie was the only decent Disney sequel. I actually enjoy watching it. xD)... Oh wow they made a sequel?
I never heard of it!
(But perhaps this is a good thing)
Same... o.o
I kind of want to see it now... Yea, I felt alittle bad for Lucille too
Originally it was alot more sadder and drama-y, but I didn't want to dwell on that too much. And I am not one for angssssssst.
So it was toned down.
Okay, I am working on some character designs for Mélody, and what clothes Chaos flea wears. ;D I'll post them soon when I get it right, so we can start choosing what the official pick will be.
I am also going to make some "friends" for Mélody. They are probably only going to appear once in a passing by way. They are the rich people, she finds boring and dull. They are only friends because of status, and the droll and boring tea parties her mom sets up once in a blue moon. (Mélody lives at her own place, but she still visits her mom once and awhile. I think Mel's dad is in the French army and is always away.)
I am not sure if Mel should let Franc meet her mom, though it would be nice, especially if she may want to continue seeing him(marry him maybe late?
). Back in the day isn't like it is now. Women sorta had to get approval from their families or it would be considered scandalous(at least for richer folk).
Meh...
I think the mom would be a kind old woman(she probably came from old rich money), who has a creme parlor, and lots of flowers in her home to liven the place up. I think Mel's kind personality came from her. But Mel's father is a general, and when she was a child, he would buy her anything she wanted, but he wasn't around alot, and didn't really give her attention or took her anywhere when he was(she would be like "let's go here," "No,Mélody." No reason, he just didn't want to take her) which made her a sheltered child since she didn't get to go out much. It was her mother that would sometimes take her shopping for fancy tea party gowns, or to tea parties where she could socialize with other rich little girls. But Mel didn't like the other girls. She always considered them boring or stuck up, and they sometimes picked on her not knowing what the latest fashions were, or other snobbish social events that were currently popular.
Now that she is older, her mom offered to get Mel own place to live and become a writer. Mel is using this new freedom to explore all the places she's never seen or explored. She goes home and writes down her new experiences, but has yet to write a good story.
I believe for Franc's final day as a flea, he flea jumps across town, to show her all the places she's ever wanted to see including the one flower garden, and then to the bench. He sings about the time they met, the trials they went through, the many encounters they had and how encounter brought them together until their destinies were inseparable. I think Mel may cries a little at the song. He wipes away her tear, and hugs her. She hugs him tightly, and he gently lifts her up. And hops to the top of the Eiffel tower. He puts her down, as they watch the sun setting and hands her a note.
She reads the note aloud:
"I was not always the man you thought you came to knew. In fact, I wasn't a man at all. You enchanted me, like magic. You changed my world. My song. My heart. My very being. You changed a beast into a man, and gave a monster a heart of love. I know I am nothing more than a flea, but will you enchant me once again, to be your man.. For the rest of his life?"
Mélody looks down, and Franc is on one knee looking down and blusshing while holding a bottle shakely with a diamond ring around the plug.
Mel cries again, touches the bottle, and then hugs Franc.
"I will."
While Mel hugs him, he drinks the potion and when he poofs he lifts her up and hug twirls her in the air while giving her a joyful and tearful kiss. Then puts the ring on her finger. The last bit of the sunlight reflects as it sets through the beautiful diamond.
Scene changes as it shows what happened sometime later with their new lives.
Raoul and Lucille are sitting at an outdoor garden table, as a young boy who looks like Raoul tries to catch Charles' tail.
Lucille closes a book titled "Un Monstre a Paris."
Lucille: Great book Melody.
Melody smiles : Thank you, I couldn't of done it without Francoeur.
Lucille: Did Francoeur really do all the illustrations?
Francoeur turns around after sniffing a fresh rose he just pruned off a bush: "I sure did!
"
Melody: He became really inspired after VVV's work.
Lucille: I never would have guessed how talented you really are Franc.
Francoeur: I would have never tried if it weren't for Mel.
Melody: Stop it Franc, you give me too much credit.
Francoeur:
Just speaking the truth.
Raoul: -flips through the book- I still can't believe how this thing makes it seem like all this is my fault. =_=
Lucille: Why do you make that sound like it is a bad thing? -kisses Raoul's cheek-
Raoul gives an blushing smile: heh.. Well, when you put it like that....
Lucille sips her tea as a flock of doves fly past and the scene pans out to show Francoeur and Melody's backdoor garden they made at their new home. As the scene pans out the doves fly past the iconic building of where Franc once stood on top of as The Monster of Paris.
;D Ohohohohoho, but what happens to the whole Chaos flea bit? I will get to that soon. Tired at the moment. Really wanted to think of the end for some reason.
