I think a while back on another thread that Maynott would probably try to manipulate Raoul. Most likely he'll be "evil" for a little while then have a "HO SHIT THIS DUDE'S CRAZY" and be a good guy again  |

That sure sounds right. XD I just can't see Raoul as a bad guy. Well, maybe a little bit, but not real hardcore like Maynott.
I can't really see him being influenced that much either. We could all just be thinking too deeply into our Franc x Lucille thoughts. I'm sure there's going to be a love interest somewhere, it just might not go as far as Maynott needing to control Raoul.

I'm with Comique, I don't think Raoul will turn out to be a bad guy. He seems too hero-ish and more like a main character to be bad. Of course he likes Lucille but I don't think he's aggressive about it, and its probably just a simple crush. XD

Well YEAH he's a god guy, but bad guys seem to have this magical way of temporarily changing one's moral compass for their own purposes.
It happens a lot.

We all know it's gonna be RAOUL TO THE RESCUE in the end with his fancy van 8U

Yah it said somewhere that they were child "enemies" or something. Somehow, I don't think he'd fight too hard for Lucille if romantically opposed.
lol Of course, the van has to come in somewhere! He probably loves his van more then Lucille! XD

Yeah, that's true, but then again he had been living with the abuse for years and was finally sick of it by the time Megamind finally started to lose his mojo as a bad guy 8U
It's been hinted that Raoul only occasionally sees Lucille. Quite frankly, he doesn't seem like the creepy watch you "like a dingo watches a human baby" kind of guy anyways.
Hal was creepy from the start... the dorky creepy.
Raoul is dorky, but not creepy.
Raoul reminds me of Doctor Who...

So I think there's more confirmation on the "Oh crap Francoeur's on stage and he shouldn't be" theory  I bet you only seconds later she'll turn around and he'll be there silently looking at her (I've got spoilers about Francoeur as a character by the way, nothing huge in my opinion rest assured) |

Okay, so I was told by somebody on dA who went and saw this special previewish thingy thaaaaaaat Francoeur had been affected by more than one potion... making Raoul even more of a godsend than before.
One was to make him grow
The other was to give him a voice.
But he can't speak, only sing.
So like, if he wants to communicate, either he learns sign/body language and expressions or he'll be a walking musical.
Maybe eventually that wonderful Professor dude will be able to give him a talking voice, but for now that's all I know. I REGRET NOTHING I also know about the shipping outcome as well, but I'll not tell you guys that one, you'll have to figure that one out when you see the movie yourself (we will all be watching it together in heart and soul when it hits english theaters ) |
