:DI think it would be a great idea to bounce off ideas so we can get a story that we all get what they want with something extra added in to make it magical.

I could need some help brain storming why Franc takes an interest in her(girl Franc falls for) in the first place.
I kinda was thinking that she is on the bench crying, or singing about being broken hearted and alone.
This young lady is well to do, but she doesn't fit in with the other rich snobs. She is very kind, almost childish, but keeps doing unlady like things for her high position(she doesn't like to sit at home and drink tea and act prim and proper. She wants to explore new places, and not be held down. She even sneaks into places considered low class and "dirty" but she doesn't care what others thinks.) She still dress pretty and acts danty at times, but if she saw Franc without her mask, she would get scared and run away(though she would come back to apologize, but when she goes back to the spot and thinks she sees Franc, Chaos flea is actually there and kidnaps her.)

It is hard to describe this girl completely,in short, she lives a sheltered life, but still tries to break the mold by trying new things and live a little on the dangerous side(lol though not too dangerous but if Franc took her for piggy back riding while jumping over the city of paris, she'd be screaming her lungs out, but then start enjoying it, throw her hands up and start laughing at the feel of the freedom and joy she feels from it.)

But still cant figure out why Franc would first be interested in her by a passing glance besides that annoying cliche of "beautiful girl sitting on a bench under a lamp post. the stars shining beautifully as her, bleh bleh blah blah. She caught my attention, was totally not paying attention as to why she was there in the first place" haha o,O;;;

I'd like a good reason for why like some good action of her bumping into him, or he was about to be late for the Cabaret and he super jumped accidently landing right infront of her. Awkwardness ensues as she questions him how the heck he did that, and he just fumble around flustered and unable to give a response without chirping and decides to avoid her questions by continuing to jump away to the cabaret. She follows after him- gets to the cabaret. She tries to go through the same backdoor alley that Francoeur shoots through, but it locks. So she pays for a ticket and watches and listens to his amazing performance. Afterwards she tries to get backstage to confront Franc about his amazing ability but Lucille blocks Franc, and tries to give silly answers to explain away his incredible feat. The lady then goes away, but she really admires Franc's performance.
Not sure after that, that is the flaw. It doesn't bring Franc any closer to her, and may even make him go into hiding and I dont want her to stalk him. TT,TT

Yea, that is part of the problem. The thing is, it is a good way for her to get her interested in Franc, but not a good way for Franc to get interested in her.
So I have been thinking that maybe we could reverse the order, and not let this be the first encounter. Maybe the 3rd encounter. That way Franc is interested in her, but maybe he didn't want her to see him do that superflea jump. "I'm a monster" mentality hur hur. Like he wasn't planning on her being there at that time. Or maybe this scene may not have even happened at the bench. Maybe she was going for one of her late night sneeks out of her house and actually saw him do that in a different location.

But still stuck with the dilema of, what would interest Franc in the first place?

I'm still brainstorming the idea of her sitting on the bench late at night crying, and talking to herself in a comical way about how bad life sucks. Francoeur just got out of a show, and over hears this weird but funny monologue, and listens to a majority of her problems while hiding behind a bush or tree. When she stops talking and just looks at the ground saying "God, I wish there was someone who would listen to me..."

Franc softly starts singing.
~(Blah blah blah lalala) Something about life seems hard when you are young-
Girl: !!!!
~Some answers are at the tip of your reach.
Girl: "whose there? How much did you hear?" (still sitting but looking around nervously, still listening to the enchanting music)
~Beautiful child, afraid of restraint. You are the bird trapped within a golden cage.
You sing a song of pretend freedom and of lands you never roamed. Though life you percieve is not as perfect as your own.
Be content with what you have. If you wish for a dream hard, know exactly what you wish for and think carefully of the consequences.

Not official lyrics or anything, but me trying to describe his first impression of her. He just thinks of her as a rich little girl who is discontent with what she has. Which somewhat makes him dislike her(or not respect her in a rolling eyes fashion). His song is somewhat poking and prodding at her to go home, and be happy with what she's got.

Once Francoeurs haunting melody to bid her to go home ends, she gets up quickly and tries to find out who this stranger is. Can't find him. He long ago super flea jumped away.

2nd encounter, Franc is leaving Carabet around noon hours and decides to go the same way out of curiosity to see if the girl is still there being a prat. He watches her get pick pocketed by a young kid, a police officer sees what happens instantly and grabs the boy. The girl vouches for the boy, that she gave it to him(winks at the boy, and boy looks up at officer nodding his head with a funny/scared/confused face). Officer has no proof and walks off with a sigh and shrug. The lady turns to the boy. "Purse. Now."
Boy apologizes and gives her it back. She digs in her purse and gives him a handful of coins, and ruffles the boy's hair. "You probably need it more than I." The boy looks at her slackjawed in shock and stares at the large amount in his hands. The lady gently puts her hand under his chin and shuts his mouth and smiles. "Go."

The lady is walking towards her bench when she notices Franc staring at her.

She looks at him and cocks her head. He looks back and cocks his head in a cute mimic.

Girl: "What?"

Francoeur shakes his head bashfully, and starts to walk off. The girl sits down at her bench and goes to opens a book she was carrying when she hears Franc singing as he walks away "The beautiful bird has a heart of gold."

Girl: -slams book and looks up, but no one is there. Franc super leaped out of view when no one was looking-

3rd or 4th encounter- she catches him accidently super flea jumping to the Carabet.

Also, I am not sure that when the girl goes backstage, should Franc vouch for her to Lucille, that it was okay for her to be backstage(i sorta imagined her sneaking back stage) or for the girl to get permission by the owners to go backstage and Franc is trying to hope out the window all funny like and Lucille is like "Why are you so desperate to run away from this girl?"
And he is just chirping and krrring away trying to explain, but Lucille doesn't understand. So she answers the door and asks what the girl wants, and Lucille keeps turning around to relay messages back to Franc.
I find it hilarious, first tells her he is changing at the moment, and Lucille keeps turning her head back to him as a mediator and first asks "Should I just tell her to go away?" And Franc first shakes his head Yes, and quickly then shakes his head No while blushing. Lucille gives this funny face like "Whuuuut?" noticing him turn a deeper shade of blue.Lucille sighs and asks her what she would like to know about Franc.
The girl thinks for a sec, having an inner monologue moment, reminding herself that it is not normal to just flat out say, "Hello, do you know that your friend can jump probably 50 feet in the air and How often does he do that?" So she decides not to ask the crazy question, and wonders if Francoeur when Francoeur would be available for an interview with a fan.
Lucille turns to Franc, and gives a look like "You aren't really going to-" Franc shakes his head happily Lucille whispers to him, "But you cant even...." -motions with her hand like sockpuppet for "talk"- Franc still shakes his head up and down ferverently. Lucille sighs and says "He will, but he will get back to you on the date."

Girl: Oh- -Lucilleslamsdoor- Kay....

Lucille:I hope you don't do it. What are you think-



Lucille: .... You like her...

-shakes head No-

Lucille: You are the worst liar. ;D

-shakes head Yes-

Lucille: It's okay, I won't tell. But I don't know about this...

-walks out back door-

Lucille: -shakes head- I hope you know what you are doing...

Girl is walking home and passes her bench. A letter is there telling her to meet.....

And that is as far as my ideas went for the encounters. lol

But as I said, as for Franc talking. I think the most we can work with, is him singing a phrase out(but not abuse that cheating).
And also, He is going to visit the professor to originally get a voice, but the professor tells him maybe it would be easier to turn him into a human. He could make Temporary human potions, so he can get use to it, and then he jokes "He if you like it so much, then maybe we could even work on a permanent fix." Anyways, Franc starts to help the Professor work to make a temporary potion for a couple of nights before the datehehe I mean interview. ;D (professor had a beta potion, but it wasnt working out so well, and was meant for monkeys to be human)

Ohmy, much to respond to! -cracks knuckles dramatically-

It definitely seems like it will take a good number of brief encounters for Francoeur to develop some kind of interest in the girl (Like an 'Okay, just who is this girl...?' kind of thing). I really like the first encounter you put down. Despite the lyrics not being official they're really good. <3 And the Franc smiley you used for her first reaction cracked me up. xD I'd imagine the encounter would be something that'd be on the girl's mind for quite a while

Second encounter I also really like. It's brief but dramatic and still mysterious. It would obviously cause the girl to be more interested, and perhaps she would cross Franc's mind a little more after it.

I suppose then, for the third encounter, she spots him super jumping away. Maybe she sees him, tries to catch up to him to speak with him but he doesn't notice (because he's in a hurry maybe?) and bounds away. While she's once again left dumbfounded it would leave her pretty desperate to find him again.

For the next encounter you could go with your earlier idea of her hearing him singing from outside the cabaret (I think it's called L'Oiseau Rare, "The Rare Bird"). She then purchases tickets to see and hear his performance and after tries to get backstage.

While the idea of the girl gaining permission to go backstage and therefore causing Franc to attempt to flee is humorous (and more thought out), her trying to sneak backstage and Franc covering for her when she's caught seems to fit better (in my opinion). I imagine it to be a sort of reference for what the girl did for the boy in the second encounter.

But then what? At this point in time Franc wouldn't have those temporary human potions so he could speak with her. He'd have to depend on Lucille to handle it from there. Maybe you could sort of merge the two scenarios together. Lucille could come up with some false excuse to get Franc away from the girl (like he's late for something or has some important task to do), and then the two of them have a brief discussion about an interview. Lucille would then go back to Franc and see whether or not he agrees (which he, of course, would).

The girl then find the letter on the bench (or perhaps it's delivered to her? Who know what'll happen if it's left sitting on a bench. D: ) with the date of the meet. It'd be perhaps a week away (maybe more, because Franc could be a very busy flea!), giving Franc time to get used to a human form.

Hmmm I like the idea that she tries to follow him superjumping(even though he doesn't know) but isn't able to catch up.

But I think we need one more encounter right before that, which draws Franc's attention to her more(gah so many encounters!! ) Because turning human is a big deal(even if temporary) just to see a person and interact with them. That is a big step, and something he would probably only do for a special person.

Cause so far, first impression of the girl, he kinda was just being a bit of smart@ss, in a gentle way. Second time, he views her, he realizes she is not exactly what he first thought of her. Which is good, but not something to instantly think highly about. Puts her in a better light, but not romantically interest or wanting to get to know more about you-ish.

I think the next encounter, should be something Franc does. ;D

But what? I don't want him getting to be too much of a cool guy, or it would be out of character. I still want him to be the big, sweet, adorkable character we all came to love.

Also, I don't want the girl working too hard to find out about him. I want her to be interested, but need a cute way for it to come about. -combs back her hair,thinking-

As cute as backstage is, I don't know if we should use either of the two theories. (must restrain inner fangirl and cliche fanfic)

I will get back to that next encounter, but at the moment I am thinking of her hearing him at the Cabaret.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm.
Maybe this would be a good time to use Raoul, Emile and the other characters.
Raoul could be there that night, and notices during the show, the new face at the Carabet. He goes over and asks her how she likes the show, and she is just enraptured in the performance not paying attention to Raoul's presence at all. Raoul sorta talks to himself "Okay, she is really into it," leans in and says "It really does sound like Magic, doesn't it?"
She looks up quickly at him, rattled awake from the hypnotic music- "Oh! Um.. Yes it is, very enchanting.. And you are?"

"I am Raoul, and up there is my beautiful angel."

"Oh? -she looks at the stage-"

"The beautiful Lucille. Of course not the guy with the guitar "

"Ahaha, eh. Yea of course. "

"I see you are new to The Rare Bird, and Lucille is the famous Angel of Montmarte!"

"Really?"

"You must have missed the their introduction."

"Heh, yea I was a little late.."

" Perfectly fine, madame. You are here and now get to witness their wonderful performance."

"If I might ask, who is that man with her?"

"Him? His name is Francoeur. I swear, the fans keep saying he should have been the one to have the title of Angel of Montmarte...
Not that I care, but I still think my darling is better. I mean, he still is pretty new, but he has already got quite a rapidly growing fanbase.... Hey, who knows you might become a fan too?"

"Really now, sir.... "

"HAHAHA Well Well, if you happen to change your mind let me know. Maybe some time we can set you on a interview with him. By the way, what's you name again?"

"-insert girl's name-"

"Lovely, well, I'll be off now. Enjoy the show~"

((AFTER THE SHOW))

Raoul comes over and greets Franc and scoops up Lucille in for a kiss.

Raoul:" Wonderful performance! You were amazing out there Lucille."

Franc:"CHIRP"

Raoul: "And you too Francoeur, though don't expect any kisses from me."

Franc: -makes a bleh face-

Raoul: By the way Franc, it looks like you might have yourself another fan. There was a young wealthy lady who was asking about you.. ;D

Franc:

Raoul: Her name was -insert-. She had the pretty gold hair, and she inquired some about you. I even offered her an interview with you.

Franc:

Raoul: What?

Franc:

Raoul: What's with that face? Do you know her?

Franc: -chirps some and pinches his fingers as if to say "A Little.." -

Raoul:

Lucille: Raoul quit harrassing him.

Raoul: But he is so cute. Right you big lug -friendly elbow rubs Franc- -Franc smiles but has a look of being unsure-

Lucille:... -stares at Raoul for a second like "I'm not sure about you"- Whatever... But Raoul, you better stop it.

Raoul: Why is it always me that you suspect doing something?

Lucille: It is always you.

Raoul: -cute sarcasim- Oh that really hurts -clutches heart-

Lucille: I'm going to get changed. -goes into her dressing room and closes door- -reopens door, and gives Raoul the "I'm Watching you hand sign point" then closes door again-

Raoul: So how about it Franc, it seems you know the girl. Would you like to meet her...

Franc: -chirp chirp shrug-

Raoul: Oh come on, you have a disguise, and you obviously like the girl.

Franc: -points to his mouth and lets out a sad chirp and covers his face-

Raoul: Ohhhh... yea....
hmm...
Well, look, you aren't hideous or anything.

Franc:-takes off mask-

Raoul: Okay, maybe a little... different.. But hey, that is why you got the mask. Besides, you are good looking even for a bug! I'm sure maybe there will be some qualities you both have in common... Minus being blue.

Franc:

Raoul: ...but how will you talk about those commonalities?

Franc:.... -sad chirp-

Raoul: -takes his hand and lightly pounds his fist against his head trying to think- hrmmmmmm.....
-scratches head- Hmmmmm
-rubs his chin- HMMMMMMMMMMMMM

Franc: -mimics scratching his own chin as if trying to understand or think like Raoul-

Raoul: I KNOW! The Professor! The Professor may have something in his lab that can help.

Franc: -gives a chirp like no way-

Raoul: Oh come on, what's the worst that can happen?

Franc:-pulls out one of Charles the monkey's cue cards that has a giant Sunflower-

Raoul: Aww that wasn't so bad.

Franc: =_= -pulls out the newspaper that stated "A Monster in Paris"-

Raoul: Hey, that was an accomplishment! - Come on Franc, let's do it. I know you want to see this girl again. Wouldn't it be nice to talk to her with your own mouth, instead of me and Lucille speaking for you?

Franc:

Raoul: Come on, we can at least check in on the professor. It could be alittle field trip if anything, and we haven't seen the professor in For Ever~~~ Besides, I'm sure Charles would be happy to see you.

Franc: -chirps in agreement like "Well, if you put it like that"-

Raoul: Alright, then "LET'S GO!"


In short paraphrase of what's gonna happen next-
The Professor was not there, again. And Raoul goes on his "MUST TOUCH EVERYTHING" spree. Charles is freaking out like "oh no, it is happening again" and slaps Raoul's hand, everytime he tries to grab a random potion. Raoul explains to Charles the real reason why they are there. Charles cue card tells them, that the professor does not have a potion just for talking.
Franc looks sad like "oh well." Charles sees and feels bad, and pulls out a book, and cue cards tells him, that there may not be a way to make him just speak, but there is another way to speak.
Charles flips to a page on making human serums.

Raoul mentions that solution is even better. And that he may not even need a disguise, and rattles on about how great it would be to be human and all the things he can do as a human. Franc starts imagining all the events as Raoul is speaking about them, gets excited, and agrees.

They work on the temporary serum thanks to Charles careful guidance, and forcing Raoul to only hand supplies instead of messing with the potions. They make a couple extra potions and Franc finally tests out one. But as he was transforming, one of the test potions that was unsuccessful falls and shatters.

Two poofs occur at the same time making the whole lab covered in smoke. Human Francoeur's face pops out of the smoke, as he sits up on the floor(I'm gonna say he may have croutched or laid down while he was transforming) and his La Seine clothes all very loose on his new human body. He is still tall, and has a somewhat of a good built but sleder figure, but the clothes were originally for the concealing of all his flea like joints.

Charles mouth is dropped and
Raoul looks at Francoeur and wipes away a tear comically: My baby boy's all grown up and ready for the world.

Just as Francoeur gets up off the floor, stands and smiles, A monstrous shadow also rises up right behind him.

Raoul and Charles stare in horror, then cling to each other screaming as the shadow lets out a terrifying roar, knocks Franc down, and super flea jumps out of glass ceiling.

Charles cue card: "Was that another flea?"

Raoul: Oh no.... Lucille is going to kill me!

...Francoeur looks up at the ceiling and whispers " What have I done?..."



Welp, still thinking about what could bring the girl and Franc together, but this is just a thought of what could happen for the Cabaret.

So far, all of your ideas seem marvelous. It's obvious you've put a lot of thought into them, which is wonderful! ;D

As for the girl's name, I like Nadia and Renee the best, as the meaning behind those names could be symbolic for how Franc feels. He's hopeful that he may have found love after the sting of Lucille choosing Raoul, and he's almost literally born again after turning himself human for her. But...that's just me and my love of irony lol

I dearly hope this will actually become a true fanfic, chapters and all!

Dang you Franc! Cooperate with the story so you become interested in the girl! D:< -mind explodes trying to think of a another encounter- I'm good at commenting on ideas, not making original ones. xD

Rofl, those cat fanarts come to mind when I think of him being adorkable. To get sweet and adorkable it'd have to be some kind of situation that really piques his curiosity while at the same time shows him how likeable the girl is. Just what that would be, I don't know... (again, not good at coming up with original ideas).

Blargh. Guess it could go on the back burner for now. D:


After thinking about it I agree that the girl trying to get backstage is a bit on the cliché side and makes her appear too desperate to meet someone she's curious about. Yay brainstorming process for eliminating cliché stuff! :D

Lol! Been focusing on Francoeur and the girl so much I forgot about other characters.... .__. I feel that Raoul offering to set up an interview for a new possible fan is a bit random. Perhaps offering for her to simply meet Franc would be better because "interview" seems too formal to me.
I love the dialogue that follows that encounter. It's really cute and funny! (Franc is too fuggin adorable! >w< ) It works well and isn't as rushed as the previous scenarios of the girl getting backstage somehow. Your mind is brilliant! >:3

I'm wondering if Franc's first human transformation and the creation of the evil flea should be at the same time. It's dramatic and throws a twist into the story, but it also takes away from the excitement of Franc's new form. It's sort of like "Ohlook! He's human! But there's something more important going on so we'll worry about that later." Perhaps it would happen when making a second batch so that Franc's human form can be enjoyed a little before things start going downhill? Just a thought.


As for a name, I like Élise simply because I like how it sounds. xD Plus it seems like an "elegant lady" kind of name. :P

You are right Sharky, about Raoul should suggest to her to meet Franc. I don't know why I keep calling it an interview, she isn't a reporter or anything. ( :-[my friends and I use this terminology for as running joke for certain bad dates scenerio by calling them interviews. The scenerio when one person is ask 50 questions n' making things seem awkward like an interview for a job. )


I am not sure about holding off the villian for too long, but I do know a way to help fix the mood for Franc enjoying being human and spending time with the girl but still having the villian before running to make a second batch. How? If Franc,Raoul,and Charles weren't there to witness it. What happens if they were cleaning up, and Raoul leaves one of the bad bottles hanging on the tip of a table or shelf? As Raoul and everyone is leaving, the shelf gets knocked over, or Raoul(yes I really want it to be him ;D) slams a door and the bottle falls on top of Charles spare coat on the floor. There is a ray of light(maybe to joke at the possibility of something good happening) and then poof a red cloud of smoke- Chaos flea is born. Chaos flea does that weird bug-cleaning-the-face move, looks at itself a reflection and roars(as if to challenge it) and breaks the glass. He looks around the lab,notices a open window, gives one good hop to it, and jumps out it into the Paris night.

I think the reason why I want the villian still in the story, is because he does draw much attention to himself in the beginning.
He is in alleyways and mostly eats animals at first, but then starts to watch the world around him, animals are not sustaining his hunger. With each passing moment he becomes intellegent but is too afraid of people to interact. One day some thugs find him when he is sleeping and take some sticks and attempt to beat him(thinking it was just some stray animal). He gets up on his hind legs to reveal his full towering height, one guy drops his stick/pipe. Another goes to take a swing at him, Chaos flea grabs his arm and picks the guy off the ground and brings him close to his face to see that he is a monster, and roars in the guys face. Throwing him against a wall, leaving an indent in the bricks where the impact was(it was not intentionally suppose to be that powerful of a throw, but he doesn't know his own strength). The other guys take off. Chaos flea snorts "cowards." He smells something delicious in the air. He goes over to the guy on the ground and notices blood from the man. "It has been so long..." -then looks around, then licks his lips- Scene blacks out.

That is when the paper mentions him as a Monster in Paris when some of the thugs take their tail the newspapers(though the body was never recovered). So the story seems like rumor to most people.


Here is my idea for possible, 3rd encounter. Then 4th is jumping away. Then 5th is Cabaret.

Lucille, Raoul, and Francoeur(in disguise) are walking through town on a nice sunny. Lucille stops to look at some rings in a window. Raoul takes notice of it and stand next to her as she points to one.

Lucille:"What do you think of that one?"

Raoul:-rubs his chin- " I don't know... I don't think it would match well with my coat." -tugs at his furry coat-
-Lucille gives him a glare with a pout-

Franc gets distracted, noticing a familiar golden hair bobbing along the walk way of all the stores. He doesn't know why, but he follows after, curiously to see if it really is her or not. There are too many though people blocking his view of this short girl
So he keeps trying to follow her, and ends up at a bookstore. It is a pretty big store, and he has no idea where to even start looking for her
So he passes the isles, just to pretend to casually check for books. One isle, no one. Second isle, old man. Third, isle couple making out -Franc can't pull his eyes away, but walks sideways to the next isle- There she is, looking at a colorful book. Franc panicks for some reason, and quickly pulls a book to his face, as if to hide himself, turns around quickly and tries to walk off - still holding the book to his face.

"Oh you like VVV books too?"

Franc: !!!! -Franc freezes with his back to her-

The girl: She is a wonderful writer, and her illustrations through out the book are equally fantastic. -she runs over and goes infront of Franc and smiles-

Franc: -makes an Mhm sound as best as he can, though it sounds a bit musical-

The girl: Ah, that is so great! -she takes the book from his hands and begins to flip through it- OH! This must be a new one, I've never seen this one before! Wow. -flips through the book- Oh look, at this- she starts showing some of the pictures to Franc-

Franc is extremely lucky. He doesn't have to say one word, this girl is doing most of the talking anyways. And she is so passionate about this book and author. He mostly just nods or smiles whenever she asks him a question and then she happily continues her babbling, and shows him another picture. Oh, but this... what a pretty spot by the river... and... OMG THE FLOWERS!

The girl: "See that? I want to go there some day. I hear that this is someone's personal garden here in the city. Can you believe that? It seems so magical. Hard to believe that the owner of the property did the landscaping and gardening themselves. Maybe someday I could plant a garden like that."

"Francoeur! There you are!"

Lucille dragging Raoul by the arm, comes to their isle.
"I- We, have been looking everywhere for you!- Oh hello. I didn't realize you made a friend."

((Raoul: (whispers to Franc) Ohhh you snagged a goodlooking one -raises eyebrows and gives thumbs up in approval -

Franc: -tries to ignore Raoul-))

The girl: Oh I'm sorry, my name is -insert-. I didn't realizing I was holding... Um... Him up. He was showing me a new book by my favorite author.

Lucille: -looks at Franc like "Really?"-

Franc looks at the girl then looks at Lucille and nods in agreement.

Lucille: Well... then..., I'm sorry for interrupting you two so shortly..

Raoul: What Lucille should be saying is, "I'm sorry. I should probably let go of Raoul's arm now... Feeling... almost gone.."

Lucille: Oh I'm sorry Raoul! -lets go quickly- I was just scared.. when I realized we lost Franc.

Raoul: We? I'm pretty sure you were the one who tried on every ring in the store before realizing he was gone.

Lucille: -jabs Raoul in the side-

Raoul: -grimaces with a smile- Oh love, why doth thou hurt so much?

Lucille: Baby.

Raoul: Sadist.

Lucille: Whatever.

Raoul: and she doesn't even deny it~

The girl laughs as Lucille glares at Raoul's childishness, as he pleasantly ignores and turns to The girl.

Raoul: Well. It was nice meeting you -grabs Franc- but we should be going now.

Franc looks back at her as he is being walked away. The girl waves goodbye.

~((I guess this would be good reason for why Raoul approves so well of setting her up to meet Franc later at the Cabaret. Cause they met shortly before. but I guess I will have to change some of the lines to imply ))~

BACK TO CHAOS FLEA ;D

Chaos flea(wearing the clothes of a wealthy victim) one night watches some crime thugs do a deal, he is curious how there is one guy giving orders to the other men, who Chaos flea perceives as inferiors to their boss, and compares them to a pack of dogs following their alpha male. He follows in the shadows and go into a backstreets hide out for some of the local gangs of paris. It is a bar/ dirty cabaret. He hunches down(like Franc does when he is being more flea like) to not draw attention to himself and his height and walks in behind a big bloke entering the dirty small cabaret. He goes to the counter, and sits. ;D Looking side to side, trying not to be too conspicuous. One crime boss looks at him, and slowly straddles over and sits next to him.

"Von, is that you?"

Chaos quickly looks down at the counter.

"Von, that's got to be you. Bartender order this guy a round."

Tender slides round down and it touches Chaos hand. He doesn't pick it up or move his hand.

"Von, go ahead. Drink up. You deserve it."

Chaos looks at him.

"Yea. Especially after you back stabbed me and my crew back at Weighman's place...."

Chaos picks up glass with one hand and starts swirling it with his wrist.

"I don't know what on earth possessed you to come back here. But you won't be making it out of here alive, you miserable bug." Thugs get up from their tables and slowly start to circle around them and the bartcounter, blocking any way to escape.

Chaos sits glass down.

Chaos, stands up, out of chair, and slowly raises himself up to his full height. He is almost touching the ceiling, and has to lean alittle just so he won't be completely against it. His eyes are glaring red, and two of his back arms are holding himself away from the ceiling.

Chaos: " I am going to give you a proposition. Join me. I will let you-points to Boss- and some of you live-waves hand to the room-. If not you and some of you will not be getting out of here at all. Either way I won't be leaving hungry."

"Shoot this freak!"

Chaos: ;D " I preferred this option. " -takes his hand and pulls out the electric wires lighting the place from the ceiling with his hands that were up there-

Scene goes dark,and changes to a dark movie theater as The Girl and human Franc are watching a scary movie with Emile and Maude.

Maude looks bored, Emile keeps shoveling popcorn and at times missing his mouth cause of his shaking hand. The girl is clinging to Franc, talking wildly as she watches a movie for the first time "Ohnonono. What'sgoingtohappen next. Oh for the LOVE OF-" -hides behind chair infront of her, only her eyes are peering over the top of the seat.
-Franc hugs her and pulls her back into her seat-
-scene switches to Emile,Maude,The Girl, and Franc the zoo-
Emile looks down at the crocodile exihibit:...... Nothing like I imagined it.... -stares at baby crocodiles-





I'm not so sure about the name Elise...Sounds like Eisel. I have thought maybe Meledy. Like Melody, but it sounds cuter. I am also leaning alittle towards Nadia. But we can still hunt down more names.

*side note* I am not sure if Chaos will use the men from the gang for long cause he may- eat them all or ditches them(because if you want a job done right, you must do it yourself) or eats them one by one for their incompetence. Man that is dark. I may just let them get ditched after trying to trap Franc. Just to be kind. Dang that is real dark if this is suppose to be a kids story. But for some reason it brings to mind Disney's movie Great Mouse Detective.

Oooh, yeah. I definitely like your villain creation idea better. Franc's new human form can still be enjoyed, and Chaos flea is introduced unbeknownst to the main characters! Just one of those really big "...UH-OH" moments that makes it obvious some real crazy shiz is about to go down.

And Chaos is just damn chilling. I really love his character already. <3

The way you come up with scenarios makes me feel inadequate. I could never come up with the things you do. xD Anyway, the third encounter is really cute (and Franc gaping at the couple making out cracked me up so bad, lol). It definitely gives Raoul a better/more of a reason to approach the girl when she's at the cabaret later on.

The only little snag I noticed was that if you're going with that second encounter where Franc and the girl briefly exchange looks, wouldn't she recognize him in the bookstore? It'd be one of those "Hey, you're that guy!" moments, and then awkwardness would ensue. So perhaps that second encounter could be tweaked a little to make it so that she still notices him, but she wouldn't be able to recognize him later on. Though, the only way I could imagine that happening would be if it was night and Franc was in darker clothing (a costume for a different performance or something?), his scarf partially covering his face, and he'd be a bit more hunched/crouched so his height wouldn't give him away later. (It's whatever you prefer/come up with. I'm just tossing out ideas. xD )
EDIT: Wait, or is she supposed to recognize him, but she just doesn't bring it up? I was really tired when I read through that and responded to it (still am tired, lol!) but I'm not sure if something went over my head or not. Haaaaa...

Hummmm, considering what you've provided so far about Chaos I don't think he'd care one tiny bit about those thugs. I get the feeling he'd use them, abuse them, then kill them off once they're no longer useful to him. As the story progresses he seems to be growing more and more malicious, from being afraid to interact with humans, to turning them into a food source, then using them to do his dirty work.

So what if it's dark? This story is your brainchild, you can raise it however you please! And I'm sure there are people here who like dark stuff (like me!). Just go with whatever you feel like doing. You could get by with simply implying the terrible things Chaos does (although the part of me that's a bit of a macabre fan wouldn't mind if there was more than that. :D Lol~ )

Haha I'm glad you enjoy reading my thoughts for this. Though I got to admit, alot of this is my "AFTER MIDNIGHT" thoughts. You know how everything seems funnier and better when you are half asleep? This is what happens to me. It will be even better when this is actually drawn out. And I like that name alot!!

When I wrote this, I was expecting her to recognize him, that is probably why she says "You like VVV too," even though he is halfways gone out of the isle. It means she had noticed him pick up the book, cause there is no way she could have seen the book when his back is facing her.
I think she is abit of a sly fox. ;D But she isn't someone to hold a grudge, as presented with giving the pickpocket boy a large amount of money. Also, I think she wanted to keep him around longer with her by discussing the book, whether he was really interested or not. But then she can't stop talking because in her mind she probably forgave him for being rude, and now she gets to talk about her favorite subject thinking that maybe he likes(or will like begin to understand and likes) it too.

I think that is part of her main quality, she is a talker(somewhat like Charlotte from Princess and the Frog. Mixed with alittle bit of smart charm of Blanche from Golden Girls, though not a maneater.) She thinks things through, but at the same time her impulsiveness gives her away to speaking everything on her mind. Probably why she is out on the bench the first encounter chattering away to herself, cause no one else wants to listen. The good news is, that this doesn't happen often so she isn't annoying and she is sincere about it. She only does this when she is extremely mad, or extremely excited. Other than that, she sometimes gets embarrassed,takes a breath, and stops herself.

I think it is a good thing that Franc is great for her, is that she is a talker, Franc comes off as more of a listener than a talker. Considering most of the time when he was a bug, all he did was chirp,pantomime and listen. I think he would be a shy guy if he was human, but give his opinions when asked. He may even have childlike expressions, exploring and doing new things as a human.

I actually really look forward to thinking up some of the dates they go out on.

Hmmm I came up with a nifty little way to make the Chaos screw everything up.

But before I get to that, I would like to introduce Chaos to Franc.

Franc(as a flea) gets done with the Cabaret, and has a giant bouquet of flowers in his hand from the performance. Raoul leaves with him, and takes a guess "who are the flowers for? Could they be for Mélody?"

Franc smiles and nods.

Raoul: I'm sure she will love them. Man I'm proud of you, you big guy. I hope you enjoy your big date tomorrow. -waves at him goodbye as he heads to his car- Tell me the details! -stops and smiles deviously- Or don't~ -makes kissey faces as he hops in his car-

Franc shakes his head, and super flea jumps, while holding his flowers close to him. As he jumps over a dark alley, Chaos looks up, and sees Franc fly over.

Chaos: "What the....?"

Chaos super flea jumps out of the alley and catches up with Franc.

Chaos: "What the?! How the?! There are more of us?! "

Franc chirps in shock, lands on a cathedral, and stops and stares. Chaos lands next to him.

Chaos: " I thought I was the only one of my kind. But here you are~ Another monster. Especially since I was alone in that lab... but I can't believe- ..... Well, whatever the reason, I think this is cause for a welcome. My name is Chaos"

Chaos opens his hand to shake. Franc looks at the hand then slowly shakes it- "And what may I ask, is your name?"

Franc opens his mouth and chirps Francoeur but it is barely understandable. Thank goodness Chaos is flea and understands alittle, but scrunches his face.

Chaos: "Ohh... you can't talk can you?"

Franc shakes his head .....

Chaos: -slaps his back- That's okay brother, who needs to talk human anyways? The best thing we can do is us fleas stick together. You and me, we can be a team. With my voice, and your.. your... well whatever you do.... You can be my lacky, and together we won't need to ever rely on humans, and create our own world. Who knows, there may be more of us out there! I mean, if there is you, maybe there is more of us! What do you say? Want to team up?

Franc looks down at hist flowers, and holds them out pointing and shaking his head.

Chaos: Oh... So you already got a place to go....

Franc nods.

Chaos: That is disgraceful. How can you accept living with humans? Better yet how can they accept you?

Franc:-sings a vocal- Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah

Chaos: YOU SING?!

Franc nods.

Chaos: Pathetic! So you are there pet?!

Franc shakes his head no D:>

Chaos: I can't... Argh! How miserable., they treat you. Argh. What a weakling you are -knocks Franc down, out of frustration, and shakes his head, facepalming himself-

A bottle of human potion falls out and begins to roll down the roof, Franc quickly leaps and grabs it. Chaos looks down at him.

Chaos: And What Is That?

Franc quickly tucks it against his chest.

Chaos: No seriously, what is that? Let me see.

Franc shakes his head no.

Chaos steps closer to crouching Franc,then kicks him off the cathedral. Franc falls but manages to land safely on his feet. Chaos jumps down, holding the bouquet.

Chaos: "What a lovely bunch of flowers. I bet you were going to give them to someone precious weren't you? Wouldn't it be ashamed if they were-" (he touches one rose with his hand around it then squeezes) "crushed.... like you?"

Franc: .... D: >

Chaos: So show me... What does that - points- do?

Franc looks at the potion, thinks about it, and drinks.
A puff of smoke explodes and floods the area, Chaos can't see and coughs. Franc runs the heck away out of the alley. Chaos looks up and sees the form of human Franc running far away. He doesn't follow but scratches his chin deep in though.
"Interesting..." ;D



Franc runs all the way back to home(Lucille's house) takes the key from under the mat, and gets in.

Lucille is sewing, making a new outfit for Franc, and doesn't look up," Welcome home Franc."

Franc:(who normally chirps back) "Thank you, Lucille."

Lucille pauses her sewing and looks up......
This is the first time she sees Franc as human.

"WHO ARE YOU?! WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY HOUSE?!"

Franc: I'm Francoeur!

Lucille: You lie! Francoeur is... You are NOT Francoeur!! -gets up, and holds her chair as a barrier, shaking-

Franc: No No! I really am!! Um... Um.. Chirp Chirp? Argh, I can't do it in this form. But Raoul and I went to the professors lab, and made temporary human potions.

Lucille: -stares in disbelief- What?

Franc: I am sorry! So Sorry! -hunches down in a flea like position-

Lucille: ...... Francoeur?

Franc looks up at her pitifully. She looks into his eyes.

Lucille: OH.. MY GOD....

..............................................


"RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAOUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

-a pounding fist on a door-
Raoul opens the door in a big fluffy lightblue nightcloak..

Raoul: *yawn* (rubs his eye) I really don't like being woken up at 2 am in the morn- Oh, ah gentle mademoiselle.

Lucille looks angry as with her arms crossed in front of her.

Lucille: Raoul~ (she growls)

Raoul: Yes sugar pea?

Lucille: Do you care to explain-

(points to a Franc giving her a "I'm sorry dude face" behind her)

Lucille: What THIS is?!

Raoul: Um..... A lovely young man.... with a lovely little lady? <: D

Lucille: Don't be cute Raoul. This is serious! Francoeur as human. HUMAN!!

Raoul: I think he looks good that way.

Lucille: HUMAN!!!

Raoul: Heard you the first time.

Francoeur: Lucille, I wanted to be human.

Lucille: -looks at him- D: > Why?

Francoeur: so... um... I could...

Raoul: -leans against his door post with his hand on his head, and elbow supporting- A girl.

Lucille: -looks at Raoul- What?

Raoul: Lucille, lets be honest here. You haven't been paying attention at all to how he feels or has been acting different lately. The man is in love.

Lucille: Francoeur... is this... true?

Francoeur: Yes... it is...

Lucille: Why didn't you tell me?

Raoul: Um... Lucille, he doesn't need to tell you "HEY LOOK! I'm IN LOVE!" As his close friend, you could have guessed by all the signs and the late nights getting home.

Lucille: .... I guess I have been alittle selfish lately...

Francoeur: Lucille, don't blame yourself. You are right though. I should have told you at least something. I just didn't want to worry you...

Lucille: Are you happy?

Francoeur: What?

Lucille: Are you happy? Being human?

Francoeur:... Well.. Yes...

Lucille: Then that's all that matters. -looks up into his eyes-

Francoeur: .....

Lucille: No don't look sad. I am happy for you. I guess... I just... I always thought of you staying the way you are.... This is a big chunk to swallow... I liked you the way you were... I always thought that it wouldn't change...

But it isn't what I want... or what Raoul wants... or what anyone else wants... What matters is what you want. And if this is what you want, then I will support that.

Francoeur: Lucille....

Lucille: But Raoul.... This still does not excuse you.

Raoul: Geez! I'M SORRY already!

Lucille: Raoul, you better tell the professor everything you've done as soon as possible!

Raoul: Yes mother.

Francoeur: Raoul.... there is something else we also must tell the professor.

Raoul: And what is that?

Francoeur: We... created another monster.

Oh my, all those Disney sequels.... There was one sequel that I liked (the lion king simba's pride) though it needed A LOT more help added to it, to have been truly good. I think my worst fear is making this and making it too cliche/ Disney sequelish. If you see something cliche or cheezy, please let me know. It can be fixed~ ;D That's why I like hearing yalls opinions on this.
