yeah he doesnt have a cute smile yet. might draw that on with a sharpie wen he's done lol. trying to figure how to attach dressed francoeur's head to his torso... it was easy with AMIP because i just wrapped it to the pipe cleaners wrapping his body... dressed francoeur isnt wrapped with pipe cleaners at the moment, but i might do so just to hold things together. still have to find the perfect material for the cloak of night. might just use the flat sheet to my bed sheet set(black jersey knit). does anyone ever really use those? lol. gotta get together sewing supplies and what not... including probly getting some tailor tape cuz i dont have any

Doll clothe shoes I picked out to be the base of his dress shoes... Was a tad worried they wouldn't fit... The shoes were going to be the hardest part of his outfit! And now for amip updates... Started working on the cloak: Sleeve length: 6in Sleeve circumference: 4in at wrist Good part about using a sheet is that it's pre-hemmed shouldn't worry too much about frays except at the tears in the back where I'm gonna put his spines

almost done with the black trench coat. i suck at sewing a straight line xD alright somewhat disapointed with how the coat came out finished coat. looks great sure but it doesnt fit him quite well the sholders ended up too broad and sleeves too long gonna try to see if i can let in the sholders while he's still wearing it, cuz putting it on and taking it off forces me to move his fingers around, which causes wear and tear on the wires.

CLoak is finsihed now, fits much better, tho the sleeves are still somehow longish. will have to roll them up a bit and rehem now to see if the satin robe i picked out for the dressed outfit is dyable, that waqy i can use the strap for the scarves

well they were REALLY long before, like covering his hands... and in the movie the coat is too small for him.

watching the movie just now... seeing francoeur dancing... his outfit may be ALOT harder than i anticipated the hat: easy vest: moderatly easy sleeves of his coat: moderatly easy getting the coat to fit properly: i dont have as much fabric as i did for the black sheet... i cant afford to make mistakes the pants: how the fk do you make pants? better question: how the fk will i get them to stay up he's not a plushie so i cant just sew the clothes on him...

won't you need more fabric for the dancing costume than the black coat? because the coat and pants are the same material? and oh no pants are a pain....hmm does your daughter have any dolls? you can take a pair of pants from one of them and copy the pattern?
