I also wanted to ask whether that guitar is special to Lucille? I remember there was a theory it was her fathers or something I'm sure there were other things I wanted to ask but I can never remember xD Oh and what do you think of the idea of having a possible sequel? It's never mentioned whether there's anything special about the guitar, but the theory is still viable. I'm quite intrigued by this sequel business, tho. I just hope if it happens, they put Franc and Lucille together where they belong and give Raoul some other girl who fits him better. It's hard to explain... there's a lot of jumping around, getting ensnared in rope and almost shot several times. Raoul, Emile and Lucille all try their best to protect him and help him escape and stuff, even the monkey helps. I would love to know if all the songs on the french CD are in the English version, and if Francoeur acctually does like Lucille in a romantic way, because I don't think that it was never really established that that was a fact. ALL the songs are in the movie, and they are LOVELY! I don't think that whether he loves her was even mentioned in the movie, but it's probably implied a bit. The romantic aspect of their relationship seems almost non-existant in the movie. Even the romantic aspect between Lucille and Raoul is barely mentioned. The romantic elements that pop up happen mostly in the ending, (except for Emile and Maud.) BTW, Franc seems to REALLY like flowers. (the face he makes when smelling them is downright sexy. CX )

Might wanna spoiler tag your post... Anyway, as to your question(s). That's easy... It happens at the end after the song and dance, in the privacy of Lucille's dressing room. Francoeur is not present, so no reaction from him. I think... Oh, God! I can't remember anymore! I'm blanking so much on this! I NEED to see it again! It's like a dream, just slipping away! (BTW, am I the only one who's online here all the time? I feel so lonely... Somebody talk to meee... )

what's the ending dance/song like? based on the amazon soundtrack preview it seems like one of those disco-y dance parties you expect at the end of movies like despicable me, and tbh that kind of irks me.

It feels like you should write a detailed summary for the whole movie at this point. You're just going to get bombarded with more and more questions. Some that will probably already have been answered. That way, it will please everyone all at once and be in order within the film. That is, if you can still remember it all at this point. I know how it is when first viewing a movie and then trying to remember your favorite parts only to forget right after leaving the theater. lol It would be awesome if you could but I understand if you're not up for it. I'm one of the few who isn't bothered by extreme spoilers. SPOILER:
My question is, what happens in Lucilles/Raoul's flashbacks? I heard that there is a few of them and they all happen at the end. What makes Lucille fall for him? What was the back and forth between them? Why were there so many of them? What triggered these flashbacks? I noticed in the younger Lucille screencap her "maybe parents" are in the background." Did they have something to do with the flashbacks? Did Raoul make her that "toy?" in her hands in the screencap?
People have told me that they've warmed up to Raoul after seeing the flashback moment and I've been curious ever since. It would make me like him more if I knew why the sudden interest.
And I'm guessing they did the cliche kiss where they look at the audience and shut the door to her dressing room before they kiss?

It actually starts off as one of Lucille's performances, but she really doesn't want to sing, because she's sad and really misses Francoeur (at this point everyone thinks he's dead). But then she hears a voice in her head, prompting her to sing with a delightful little vocalization (the "Oh-Oh-Oh" part of the song), so she starts to sing along, prompting the band to join in. Turns out the voice in her head is tiny-flea-Francoeur. He's alive! Then there's a whole montage-y seen where Raoul and Emile find this out, rush back to the professor who has returned from New York and they make a new potion and then POOF! in a puff of smoke Francoeur returns to the stage! White suit, guitar and all! Until the end of the song. :\ Hope I didn't spoil too much. It feels like you should write a detailed summary for the whole movie at this point. I don't think I want to do that. I don't want to reveal the whole movie in one go... I think tid-bits of spoiler are easier to swallow than a whole spoiler-pie. Anyway... It's really only one flashback, which seems tacked on as a means of justifying why Lucille gets together with Raoul. It's basically just a scene showing little!Raoul playing with a toy horseless carriage (a car). He pushes it off driving and it runs into (sad-faced) little!Lucille who picks it up, smiles at Raoul and runs off with it behind a tree. Little!Raoul frowns and starts to cry, running away from the mean girl. Then that's it. Apparently, she wanted him to chase her to get it back, cuz she liked him. (think reverse kid-love, where the girl bullies the boy instead cuz she likes him.) And then she goes on to say that she always loved him. Frankly, it doesn't seem sincere to me. If they're gonna do this pairing, they should've hinted at some sort of hidden love between them more, especially from Lucille because not once in her interactions with Raoul did she seem to be carrying any sort of secret affection for him. At least Raoul went lovey-dovey about her, as a sign of his secret love.
The kiss scene isn't cliche like that, they just kiss...

Lately, I've been staying up all night and sleeping all day, so it's my own fault for being out of sync with normal people. :\

Talk about insomnia, I remember staying up past two to finish "Preoccupied", and then waiting for comments because I really wanted to hear someone tell me I actually wrote it and it hadn't been a damn dream

School? Work? What are those? I have no life, which is why I can stay up til such ungodly hours and sleep all day. u.u siffyleafylav I know what you mean. I complete a lot of my work late at night or early in the morning and spend hours just waiting for feedback. Which I usually get so little of because everybody else is either sleeping or doing things like work or school. Also... I need positive re-enforcement to feel good about my work. I mean, I feel good when I finish it, but I need re-enforcement or else I start to feel bad, or rejected, or ignored. God, I'm pathetic -.-
